Ontario (CA) launching soon at LeoVegas & Royal Panda

Subject to successful AGCO registration and execution of an Operating Agreement with iGaming Ontario, LeoVegas Group is proud to announce that it will very soon be launching a new market in the Canadian Province of Ontario. The market will be introduced on LeoVegas & Royal Panda, under the following URLs : http://leovegas.com/en-ca/on/ and http://royalpanda.com/en-ca-on. As with all new markets, a set of required guidelines has been compiled for our affiliates to follow when advertising the LeoVegas & Royal Panda brands.

It is our shared duty to ensure that the regulations on gaming in Ontario are adhered to in order to provide a superior and safe environment for our prospective customers. We kindly remind you that you have a duty to comply with legislative requirements and guidance rules, including those related to marketing and advertising and, when carrying out activities on our behalf, you agree to conduct yourself as if you were bound by the same laws, regulations, and standards applicable to us. Please note, by continuing to operate with the affiliate program you agree to be bound by the LeoVegas Affiliate Partner Terms and Conditions.

In accordance with the Registrar's Standards for Internet Gaming issued by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario ("AGCO"), the iGaming Ontario ("iGO") Marketing and Advertising Conditions Policy and the Operating Agreement with iGO, the following is a list of approved guidelines that must be followed by all affiliates advertising the LeoVegas & Royal Panda brands in Ontario, post market launch.

Inducements, Bonuses and Credits

• Advertising, marketing materials or any gambling inducements, bonuses and credits relating to the Ontario Websites are strictly prohibited. These activities are only permitted on the LeoVegas and Royal Panda websites; as such, affiliates are prohibited from communicating such benefits on websites accessible to Ontario players.
• Welcome offers for players signing up to LeoVegas and/or Royal Panda Ontario must not be mentioned or used as a marketing message anywhere other than on the LeoVegas and/or Royal Panda Ontario websites.

Affiliates and other Third Parties

• Affiliates shall not engage in direct-to-consumer marketing, direct-to-consumer promotion, or player referral services for online gaming sites that facilitate or accept wagers from players in Ontario without an AGCO registration.

Advertising outside of Ontario

• Affiliate listings for the Ontario market must be Ontario exclusive pages. Affiliates shall ensure that any listing(s) or advertising that may be viewed by individuals outside of the Province of Ontario will explicitly state the exclusivity to those physically present in the Province of Ontario. As such, a ‘Not available in Ontario' message must be included near any LeoVegas and/or Royal Panda listing on any affiliate websites promoting offers available for the rest of Canada.
• Ontario players landing on a Rest of Canada listing(s) cannot be redirected to Ontario listing(s).

Affiliate Content

• The "19+" and a link to connexontario.ca must be clearly visible so as to ensure it is sufficiently legible on all of the below:
• All owned social media accounts.
• On the "masthead" of social media platforms - or, given sufficient space, in a prominent location of the platform.
• On any paid ads, across any used channels and methods of marketing (TV, digital & social, print, OOH, etc).
• A message to promote responsible gambling must be present on all marketing assets, such as ‘know your limit and play within it', ‘please play responsibly', or ‘gamble for fun, not to win' and a link to connexontario.ca.
• Any advertisements, marketing materials and communications shall not target high-risk or underage persons to participate in lottery schemes.
• Marketing, including advertising and promotions, shall be truthful and shall not mislead players or misrepresent our products.

Additional Information

• All marketing assets for the Rest of Canada (banners and landing pages) will be updated from our end to reflect the required changes.
• The LeoVegas & Royal Panda website URLs will be fully operational once the Ontario market has launched for both brands respectively.
